We have come to live so immersed in our hectic lives that we seldom notice people around us, let alone care about them.

The Excuse-me Bench is designed to force interaction between people.   At its resting state, the Bench appears to have different height seats.  However, once a person sits on one of the higher seats, the configuration of the whole bench is affected.  As more people sit on the bench, other’s seats are lowered, raised or displaced horizontally.
