Traveling is one of my favorite things to do. To me it is like reading a really good novel, except that what’s going on is actually real. And the main character is living all the action and making decisions to get the best out of it whilst managing to stay out of any type of trouble (i.e. upset stomachs, tourist traps, security guards threatening to confiscate your camera, running out of film/memory/batteries…).

Moreover, traveling allows me to become an incidental character in other people’s stories, which in turn contributes to enhance my own.

Me encanta viajar. Para mi es tan fascinante como leer una buena novela, con la ventaja de que todo es real y el protagonista de la historia (por supuesto yo) es quién vive la acción y toma decisiones para aprovechar al máximo la experiencia mientras evita meterse en todo tipo de problemas (incluyendo: malas elecciones gastronómicas, ser “robado” por verte demasiado turista, quedarte sin batería o rollo de cámara, entre otros).

Viajar, además, es convertirse en personaje incidental de muchas otras historias, lo que a la vez contribuye a enriquecer la propia.
